Samsung Galaxy S8 Pre-Orders Open Now in New Zealand

Having been announced a few weeks back, the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+ are now open for pre-order right here in New Zealand.

Pre-orders are open through the Samsung New Zealand website and available through retailers like Noel Leeming. Pre-ordering will not only ensure you have one of these stunning phones at launch on 5 May but you’ll also receive a bonus 256GB storage card valued at $399NZD.

We were at the launch for the Galaxy S8 in New Zealand and were able to spend some hands on time with the device and it truly is stunning. The Infinity Display is something you just have to see to believe, it gives off a similar feel to the Galaxy S7 Edge with the screen going all the way to the edge of the phone. The screen features HDR which makes for greater contrast and a brighter colour array to make everything on the screen pop! Not to mention that by extending the screen to the edge the screen has more space without making the phone size bigger overall.

Couple that with the likes of Bixby (even if it will be watered down on release), a stunning set of cameras and extremely fast processor and Samsung is on to a winner here.

Get in now and pre-order to avoid those lines on 5 May.

We will do our best to get our hands on an S8 to put a review out as soon as we possibly can. It’s unlikely to be before the phone releases but rest assured we’ll get you a review even if we have to use a small child to create a distraction in-store then grab the phone and attempt to run like Usain Bolt going for Gold at the Olympics.
